Tips for Painting your Rental Properties
Having and maintaining rental properties can be stressful and expensive! We have some tips for you to reduce some of the cost and mental load when it comes to keeping your walls, ceilings, and trim looking great!
Tip 1: Choose a neutral color. Light tans and light grays are a great choice!
Tip 2: To save money and time, select the same color and sheen for the walls and ceilings.
Tip 3: Consider using a higher sheen of paint (such as eggshell) rather than flat. Flat paint may be cheaper, but it's harder to clean than paint with a higher sheen. Being able to clean the walls and ceiling more readily can result in the need to repaint or complete touchups less frequently.
Tip 4: If you have multiple rental properties, consider using the same color and sheen in all of your properties. This way, you don't have to keep track of which rental has which colors and sheens.
Hope you find these tips helpful! Let us know if we can lessen the hassle of maintaining your rental by taking some of the painting out of your hands!
